Background
Tim has been hooked on thoroughbred horse racing since a childhood trip to the local racetrack with his father. So much so that he is now the majority owner of a small stable of thoroughbreds based in Southern California. “I enjoy getting to know each horse and its unique personality. And, it’s an indescribable thrill to watch your horse race, especially when it wins,” says Tim.
Over the years, Tim has found that the most challenging part of the practice for him is representing debtors in efforts to reorganize their financial affairs. As a debtor’s lawyer, he explains, he has to negotiate with all the parties and help create a plan for turning the debtor’s business around. “And as a debtor’s lawyer, almost every legal issue in the case affects your client.”
