This work is summarized in four broad categories:

Providing comprehensive wealth and estate tax planning, including the use of tax-saving trusts, limited liability companies and charitable organizations.

Lance is a frequent lecturer to other lawyers regarding Washington State’s unique Trust and Estate Dispute Resolution Act (TEDRA) and serves as Chair of the State Bar’s Trust and Estate Litigation Subcommittee. Lance has represented a wide variety of clients, including Jimi Hendrix’s brother, Leon (you may read a brief summary of this case in the Seattle P-I or Forbes Magazine). Background

Lance was born in British Columbia and raised in a small prairie town in Alberta, Canada. He was a member of  the firm of Rosedale, Losey & Burnett, PLLC in Issaquah, before joining Ryan, Swanson & Cleveland in 2000.

Lance Has Four Good Reasons to Stay in Shape

Lance and his wife have four young children that occupy most of his time outside of the office. Nonetheless, Lance has a weakness for Texas Hold-Em and sports of almost any variety. Like the fresh fish menu at McCormicks, Lance's recreational league of choice changes from season-to-season—or at least it used to. Recently, Lance has taken up his childhood dream to become an NHL ice hockey star. If anyone knows of a professional hockey team looking for a past-his-prime, painfully slow, weak-skating center, please let Lance know. In the meantime, he'll be waiting for scouts to discover him in the lower divisions of the GSHL (www.gshockey.com).
